EEI's Emergency Response Awards recognize member companies that put forth
outstanding efforts to restore service promptly to the public following a storm
or natural disaster.
The awards are announced in two categories:
Emergency Recovery Award (for companies directly impacted) and Emergency
Assistance Award (for companies that come to the aid of another company).
The nominations schedule has changed this year in order to provide the awards more promptly after events. Submissions for events since December 2014 will be accepted in the beginning of October through November 2, 2015, with the Awards presented at the January CEO Conference. The next round of submissions will be accepted in early April for the remainder of 2015 and winter 2016, to be presented in June. All EEI member utility companies as U.S. or international affiliates are eligible and may nominate themselves or any other EEI member.
Please return to this page in October 2015 to access our new online submission portal.
The nomination format will follow past forms; please feel free to use the below links to draft your submission answers to quickly enter your submissions when the portal is available.

Selections will be based on a company’s ability to respond to a crisis
swiftly and efficiently, overcome difficult circumstances, utilize unique or
innovative recovery techniques, communicate effectively with customers, and
restore service promptly.
