As is customary, there is no registration fee for retirees.

Payment Method:  Online registration is currently accepting payments by credit card. If you are paying by check, please fax or email your registration form to iybadlit@eei.org  and mail the check along with the registration form to EEI.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations received on or before WEDNESDAY,  November 2, 2011 will be refunded in full. PLEASE NOTE:  NO REFUNDS will be given after November 2, 2011 to cover the cost of unfilled function guarantees.  Substitutes are welcome. Telephone cancellations will be accepted, but must be confirmed in writing.

(Important: Please note that the Sheraton Dallas is a smoke-free hotel in all areas of the hotel. The hotel will post a $200 fine to the account of any guest who smokes in their hotel room.)

SOCIAL EVENTS
Sunday Reception:
 All meeting participants, spouses and guests are invited to attend. This reception is always well-attended and provides an excellent opportunity to network with friends, colleagues and speakers and a great opportunity for new members to meet with colleagues in a relaxed environment.

Monday Spouses Trip:  (Self-Funded) “Dallas City Tour”
Attached please find information about the spouses outing. The cost of this 2 ½ hour guided tour is $75 per person.  Please return the attached form via fax or email to Irene Ybadlit by Friday, November 4.  We will stop for lunch at the Dallas Chop House. Lunch is on your own.

Please Note: The Registration Fee for spouse/guest covers the reception, group dinner, breakfasts, and the hospitality suite, but does not include the spouse trip.

Monday Group Tour and Dinner at the Sixth Floor Museum:
Self-guided tour.  The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is located on the sixth and seventh floors of an early 20th-century warehouse known in 1963 as the Texas School Book Depository. Opened on Presidents Day 1989, the Museum has since welcomed more than 6 million visitors from around the world—people of all ages seeking information and understanding about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963.

Attached is a list of Things To Do in Dallas including local historical landmarks, tours, family entertainment, and other sites of interest.

TRANSPORTATION INFO
There are two major airports serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area—Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL)—both of which are convenient to the hotel. Dallas Love Field operates flights nationally and regionally through Southwest, Continental Express and American Airlines/American Eagle.

DFW is located about 25 minutes from the hotel by car.  One-way taxi fare is $50.  DAL is approximately a 15-minute drive from the hotel.  One-way taxi fare is $25.

Shuttle fares from both DFW and DAL Airports to the hotel is $17 one way. Advanced registration is recommended so book your shuttle ride by calling 1-800 BLUE VAN. (Please remember that SuperShuttle is a shared ride service. Your trip will take longer than a taxi and it could be significantly longer depending upon how many other people are in your van.)

Discount Travel:  Discounts are available to delegates of EEI member companies, international affiliates and associates, as well as to spouses and guests, traveling to EEI-sponsored meetings and conferences: United offers a 5% discount off any published fare or 10% off regular coach fare.
