Meeting Location
The meeting will take place in the Thomas Alva Edison (TAE) conference rooms on the fourth floor of EEI’s offices, which are located at:
701 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington, D.C.  20004  
By Air:
  • Reagan National Airport (DCA) is 5 miles from EEI’s Offices, which is roughly $25 by taxi or $5 by Metro rail (rail station adjoining airport and only five stops away from EEI)
  • Dulles Airport (IAD) is approximately 30 miles away (roughly $60 by taxi)
  • Baltimore-Washington Airport (BWI) is approximately 32 miles away (roughly $60 by taxi)

By Amtrak (viable alternative along the East Coast): Washington DC’s Union Station (WAS) is 1.5 miles from EEI’s Offices, which is roughly $10 by taxi.


Hotel Reservations
There are several hotels in the immediate area with which EEI has discount agreements.  Please see the attached “Hotel Map and List” document for more information.

Meeting Content
Several industry topics will be discussed during the meeting, including Cybersecurity and Distributed Generation, as well as matters related to ERM practices.  Because this is the first group meeting, we will also dedicate time to introductions, understanding the needs of all participants, and learning about the resources available through EEI.

May 6, Tuesday
7:00 AM               Continental breakfast provided
8:00 AM               Morning session begins

3:00 PM               Meeting adjourns

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received on or before Wednesday, April 16, 2014 will be refunded in full.  Cancellations received after that date and on or before Friday, May 2, 2014 will be subject to a refund equal to one-half of the registration fee to cover the cost of unfilled function guarantees.  Cancellations received after Friday, May 2, 2014 will result in a forfeiture of the registration fee.  Substitutions are welcome.  Telephone cancellations will not be accepted, they must be confirmed in writing via email or mail.
