Meeting Cancellation Policy
Registration fees will be refunded minus a $100 administration fee if notification of cancellation is received on or before Wednesday, November 6, 2013. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after that date. Substitutions are welcome. The room rate per night for those attending the EEI Accounting Committee Meetings is $144.00 plus taxes single/double occupancy per night. Refer to the EEI Accounting Committee Meetings when making your reservation to get the meeting group rate per night. Room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check-out (currently 13.5%) and a $1 destination fee. The hotel accepts all major credit cards. The EEI Accounting Committee Meetings room block is scheduled to be released after Sunday, November 3, 2013. Reservations made after November 3, 2013 will be subject to availability at existing hotel rates.
Discounts are available to delegates of EEI member companies, international affiliates, and associates, as well as to spouses and guests, traveling to EEI-sponsored meetings and conferences: United offers a 5% discount off any published fare or 10% off regular coach fare.

The suggested dress is business casual for the meeting. Please note that meeting room temperatures are generally cool and difficult to moderate – please bring appropriate attire for such conditions.
On Monday evening November 18, 2013, meeting attendees and registered guests will enjoy dinner on board the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point. This Essex-class carrier was renamed YORKTOWN in honor of YORKTOWN (CV-5), sunk at the epic Battle of Midway (June 1942). Built in an amazing 16-½ months at Newport News, Virginia, YORKTOWN was commissioned on April 15, 1943, and participated significantly in the Pacific Offensive that began in late 1943 and ended with the defeat of Japan in 1945.
Throughout the evening guests will have access to self guided tours of the aircraft hanger bay and the Medal of Honor museum. Before and after dinner, guests may take part in guided tours of the Carrier including:
• The bridge and flight deck
• Living and working quarters
