EEI Utility Internal Auditor's Training Course EEI is pleased to offer the fifth annual Utility Internal Auditor's Training Course. This 2 1/2-day comprehensive program consists of a wide range of audit topics in areas affecting the regulated utility, competitive business operations, information technology and corporate services. Other sessions will focus on general industry and utility accounting topics to form a basis for understanding the business and current issues. This course is designed for staff and advanced level auditors, but anyone with an interest in audit issues should find the course very useful. All segments of the course are taught by expert utility instructors and leaders in the field of utility auditing and accounting issues. The course offers several general and joint sessions that all participants will attend, with break-out sessions divided into distinct tracks. Attendees can select which sessions they prefer to attend based on their interests. The tracks and associated topics are identified as: G = General and Joint Sessions These tracks address the complex nature of today's utility and the audit challenges arising from both regulated and non-regulated operations, as well as the needed services to support these areas. In addition to information that will enhance company audits, participants will also benefit from a current perspective of the broader challenges facing the industry as a whole.
