EEI Releases White Paper on S. 2191, "Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act of 2007"

On May 15, 2008, EEI submitted a white paper addressing key issues underlying S. 2191, the "Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act of 2007," to the bill's sponsors Senators Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and John Warner (R-VA). 
 
The white paper covers a number of key issues, including the importance of aligning reduction targets with the availability of technologies to achieve necessary reductions, cost containment, offsets and international participation.
