Overview

Leaders from around the world will gather in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11-22, 2024, for the UN Climate Change Conference, or COP29.

EEI leaders and member company executives will travel to Baku to participate in a variety of official side events highlighting the electric power industry’s clean energy leadership and the transformation of the U.S. economy. The events will feature discussions on meeting clean energy goals while addressing rising demand, deploying new clean energy technologies, driving ambitious climate goals, and more. COP29 Events

Driving Ambitious Climate Goals: Leveraging All-of-Society Action for the U.S. 2035 NDC
Co-hosted by America Is All In (AIAI) and the University of Maryland Center for Global Sustainability, EEI leaders will discuss the energy industry’s leadership in reducing carbon emissions and their work to develop and deploy the next-generation technologies needed to reach net zero.
